The History of ANH


Founded in 2006, ANH Montessori has grown from two guides and twelve students to a staff of sixteen and a current enrollment of 120 students in six classrooms. Our guides and assistants offer our families a true Montessori education for their children. You will find our rooms spacious, environmentally conscious with lovely, engaging work areas filled with materials and lessons designed to captivate the student’s imagination and support his or her natural development.

We would like to invite you to visit us and see for yourself the beauty and excellence of the Montessori classroom. Our mission is to inspire a life long desire for learning and to build a sharing community amongst our students, their families, our staff and the world community. Our students thrive because together we can create a learning environment which meets the intellectual, physical, social, creative, and emotional needs of the whole child.

The Staff of ANH

Our Guides hold Montessori credentials from programs including Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), American Montessori Society (AMS), Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE), and North American Montessori Center (NAMC). The staff at ANH continue to study Montessori philosophy while maintaining state mandated training certifications required by all Early Childhood Education programs in the state of Arkansas. Many of our dedicated staff members have been at ANH for over a decade!

Career Opportunities

Available Positions:

  • Part-Time Substitute
    As a part-time substitute, you will relieve the classroom staff for lunch breaks and lesson planning periods The work is challenging and rewarding. Must be flexible, able to clean throughly and efficiently, communicate confidently, and willing to learn.

    Experience with birth to 3 year olds and/or 3-6 year olds is beneficial but not necessary, on the job training provided. Approximate hours are 11:00am-4:00pm, minimum with additional after hours staff meetings, trainings and community events. Hourly wage negotiable.

     
  • Primary Assistant: 
    We are looking for a dedicated individual to work in a classroom of 3-6 year olds. The work is challenging and rewarding. Must be able to clean throughly and efficiently, communicate confidently, and willing to learn.

    Experience with 3-6 year olds is beneficial but not necessary, on the job training provided. Hours vary; minimum 40 hrs/week, with additional after hours staff meetings, trainings and community events. Hourly wage negotiable.
